This week we awarded Mary Garrison with her Paul Harris +3 Pin.  She has been generous in her time with Rotary, and we thank you, Mary, for your continued contribution to Rotary--not only financially, but with your time and talents as well.

 

 

 

Next, we inducted Paul Larsen into membership!  Paul was born in California and joined the military in 1988.  He served the country for 26 years in the Air Force, Army, and two deployments.  He settled in Nebraska after his second deployment and began working at the Nebraska State Penitentiary as an officer, corporal, case worker, and case manager--living in Lincoln for 10 years.  He found Crete in 2016 and fell in love with the area deciding to finally (semi) retire in Crete.  He still owns Crepe Cafe food trailer, and enjoys helping out in the community where he can.  Welcome, Paul!  We are excited to have you with us!

 

 

Lastly, our next meeting will be a club assembly to organize the Centennial celebration.  We will all work to get details about content and invitations solidified.  Before the next meeting, members are asked to bring any content you have--videos, pictures, news articles, banners, etc--so it can be considered for inclusion in the video.  The historical website: http://creteheritagesocietyne.advantage-preservation.com can be a great resource for you if you'd like to search for some items.  In addition, please think of former rotarians and try to find their contact information if possible so they can be invited to the event.  If you have any questions, please ask Tom Parker for details.
