Twelve Crete Rotarians joined to do spring yard work at the Crete Scout/Youth Cabin south of town. Most of the work involved removing branches and sticks from the grassy area to facilitate mowing plus raking around the cabin.

Debris was loaded into a pickup truck and hauled to a compost area.
All was moving along nicely until Geoff "Paul Bunyan" Easton decided to cut down a dead walnut tree. Tom Parker tried to claim that he felled the tree with his weed whacker but no one was buying his story. Once the tree was down, it was cut into numerous pieces and moved to a firewood pile.

Following the work, the members enjoyed fried chicken and home-made potato salad. Desserts were enjoyed by everyone, especially Tom Sorensen.
