Treasurer’s Report:
Checking: $7060.04 (but stay tuned as we deposit more Grocery Grab receipts)

Christmas Party:
Our annual Christmas party will be the evening of Wednesday, December 16 in the Campus Center at Doane. Here are details:
· 5:30-6:30 PM – Social hour. A photographer will be available to take family pictures and we are trying to arrange for live music.
· 6:30 PM – Dinner.
You should have received a request for RSVPs on attendance and meal choices.
Grocery Grab:
By halftime of the Doane men’s basketball game, we had sold approximately 1850 tickets.
At halftime of the men’s game, Jill McCartney drew the grand prize winner and four $100 gift certificate winners. They were:
· Grand prize: Maricruz Andrade
· $100 certificates: Ann Howard, Matt Hanson, Ron Sack, Gabby Banda.
We will draw the $50 and $25 certificate winners at Food Mart on December 12 following the Grocery Grab.
The Grab will be at 8:00 AM on Saturday, December 12 at Food Mart. Please plan to attend.
Meeting - December 9, 2015
Reminder about this week’s Grocery Grab at Food Mart at 8 am. All members are urged to attend to support the event. We need lots of cheerleaders to make this event exciting. Be at Food Mart before 8 am.
At 8:30 am on Saturday there will be grocery boxes packed for Crete Cares. This year it will be at the Crete Schools “Bus Barn” which is attached to the Administration Building, a short walk from Food Mart. This year boxes are being picked up by the recipients with only a few deliveries. This is a great community service opportunity.
Jack Thompson won the draw and got $4.00. He donated $8.00 to Polio. Jack couldn’t find the queen of spades, so the pot grows to $123.00.
Jill McCartney introduced Matt Franzen, Doane Football Coach. Matt told how the book “The Score Takes Care Of Itself” by Bill Welsch has influenced his building of a winning football team. There are no rules but there are expectations. Players a expected to “Make Good Choices”.
