Last week, members met at Old Main for a "Pass the Gavel" Social event.  Club members were able to celebrate Shay's leadership during the last two years, and thank her for her work not only with the club but for seeing the playground install truly come to life.  Thank you for your dedication to that project and our club, Shay.

 

 

Some Notes for Upcoming Events:

1. The visit for our new DG, Gretchen Bren, has been rescheduled for September 9th.  Please save the date to ensure she can meet as many members of the Crete club as possible.

 

2. Pending approval from the District, our District Grant is Project Protein!  There are signups going around for that prep and distribution.  Check your calendars for July 22nd (regular meeting), July 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm, and July 26th from 12:30-2:30pm.  The hope is that many club members will be able to volunteer to show support for the community and this project.

 

3.The Saline County Fair also needs some volunteers!  Sign up sheets are going around for July 16th beer garden help from 6-8pm and 8-9:45pm.  Additionally, we need help with recycling at 6:30am on July 17, 18, and 19.  Either sign up at the next meeting or email Janelle if you're able to help.  

 

Other than that, our next meeting will be July 8th at Doane!  We hope to see you all there!  Have a happy and safe 4th of July, all!
