Prior to this Tuesday’s meeting at 11:30 am, the officers need to meet with Clay Ehlers our Assistant Governor.  The officers are President Jim Fahrnbruch, Pres. Elect Jack Thompson, Secretary Craig Snyder, Treasurer Jim Johnson and Foundation Chair Mary Garrison.  We will discuss Goals for this year and the coming year.  Please be on time.

Reminder:  Go to Heath’s Sport Shop and check out the Rotary T-shirts and Polos.  Place your order so that Paul Heath can make them at our March 29 meeting.  In order to have the shirts on hand, we need to have your order soon.

This week:  Tuesday, March 7 will be a club discussion meeting.

Geoff Easton (above) shared one of his hobbies with us: numismatics, or coin collecting.  He's been doing it for about 20 years after he inherited some coins from his wife's aunt.  He showed us some coins from his collection, some informational books, and some tools he uses to view coins.  The value of coins depends on rarity, the number minted, the year it was minted, and the place it was minted.  They are graded on a 70 point system: 1 being very poor quality and 70 being in flawless, mint condition.  The coins in his collection ranged from American coins of all types and years to ancient international coins.  If you'd like to hear more about his collection or see more of it, just ask--it was clearly a huge passion of his!

Happy Birthday wishes to Karen Drevo (3/6)
