Last Week- 14 members attended our Tuesday noon meeting. Our newly printed Grocery Grab raffle tickets were distributed, two books of 10 tickets, to each member. Sign up sheets for this weeks CAMC Health Fair Project and Rotary's Hwy Cleanup Project were passed around. All of the time slots on the CAMC Project were filled but we still could use a couple more members for the Hwy Cleanup! Judy won the drawing and donated $16 to our Rotary Foundation fund. Thanks Judy! The Queen is still in witness protection and the pot grows to $200+. Ryan Bailey and Larissa Dusin from Blue Valley Community Action Partnership were our speakers. They spoke about the services they provide to those in need in Crete and in multiple counties in eastern Nebraska. Services provided include the categories of: Basic Needs, Education, Family Development, Health & Nutrition, Housing, Transportation and Volunteer Opportunities. Visit their website for more details. This Week- We will not have a regular meeting this week since we have two projects- the week long CAMC Health Fair and our semi-annual Hwy Cleanup Projects. Please remember to wear your Rotary shirts. The weather forecast looks favorable for the Hwy cleanup. We will meet in the CAMC parking lot a 5pm to get organized. If you were not able to make last week's meeting, please contact Jim Johnson to pick up your Grocery Grab raffle tickets. They will also be available to pick up at our next regular meeting on October 24th.
