Rotary District 5650's annual District Conference was a huge success this weekend. In short it was very well organized, informative and inspirational. A highlight of the event was the recognition and celebration of each club's Golden Wheel Awardee. It was a pleasure to have our recipient Russ Sears and his wife Jan at our table. It was also amazing the Sear's son Todd was the awardee of the Omaha Northwest Club. So it turned into a family event!

 

I wanted to thank our members who were able to attend the conference and others who contributed items to our club's display table and auction basket. Both received a lot of interest from other Rotary Club members from the district. A special thanks to Jenn, Janelle and Shay for setting up these displays! And a thank you to Jim and Pat Johnson for attending the Golden Wheel dinner.
