There were 13 members in attendance, including our newest: Macy Sorensen! Macy was inducted on Wednesday by Tom--a special moment for them both. The Queen of Spades remains hidden, however, and the pot is up to $186 dollars! In our club assembly, we discussed many upcoming items. Here are some highlights: We are still working with the Brewhouse on the best way to have meals at meetings. Until we have it figured out (a couple weeks), I will be asking for a headcount for each meeting so they know how many to prepare for. I must let them know Monday before the meeting so they can order the ingredients, so please keep that in mind. Neither the club, nor the Brewhouse want to take a loss on the meals, so we are trying to come up with a solution. Thank you all for your patience in the meantime. The Christmas party will either be on December 17th or 19th. Some members brought up the possibility of having it on Monday when the Brewhouse is closed, or having it at different locations since that's now during regular business hours for them. Stay tuned for more information and menu options. The Grocery Grab will be at Foodmart every year going forward. The new manager at Walmart was not interested in hosting it, so we will make it a tradition at Foodmart. The GG will be in the Spring (March or April), but we are going to ask for Sponsorships now. We are compiling a list of businesses that sponsored last year or were at least contacted to ask again. Stay tuned for more information on this.
