Last week we heard the results of the survey sent by club President, Shay Smith. There were 13 members who filled out the survey and gave feedback. The results were as expected in some areas, but others there were some surprises in others. Overall, here are the highlights: - Our members are proud to be members, care about each other, enjoy the meetings, and feel welcome. Diversity is an area of growth for us, however.
- Members feel like Rotary is valuable, helps them improve the community, and is worth their time and talent. How Rotary is improving the world, or communication surrounding Rotary International could use some work, however.
- There's not enough time to socialize in Rotary and make professional connections, but the meeting location and time seems to meet needs of those that submitted the survey.
- Overall, comments mentioned a need to generate more income. The dues we pay allow us to meet our current goals, but looking forward doesn't allow us any room to fund some other projects we may want to do in the future. Expect more fundraising opportunities or ways we can be generating income in the upcoming year.

Thank you all who filled out the survey, your opinion is valuable in making Crete Rotary even better than it already is. Here are some things to put on your calendar: - Annual Christmas Party on December 18th at Doane University. We're in the East/West dining room, social time starts at 5:30pm, dinner is served at 6pm.
- January meetings will be January 8th and 22nd at Doane University. The programs are close to being solidified, but still TBD right now.
- In an effort to incorporate more social time into Rotary, there will be a Rotary lunch on January 15th. The location and time is TBD, but please put it on your calendar. This will not be a regular meeting, it will only be a time to socialize and get to know our members.
Lastly, thank you to all who helped with our Auction fundraiser! The club was able to raise $522.88!! Funds for the park currently total about $6000! We're well on our way, but we still have a long way to go.
