We have a Grocery Grab Grand Prize winner! Early in the morning this past Wednesday Owen Kuntz's name was drawn as this year's shopping spree winner. The drawing was held at the Ninth Street Grill and Dr. Roger Hughes, President of Doane University, drew the winning ticket from the golden tumbler. A number of club members attended, and several stayed on to enjoy breakfast together. The 5-minute shopping spree will occur this Saturday (November 11th) at 7:30am at Crete FoodMart. We will need at least 5 or 6 club members to attend to help out when the shopping begins. Once the shopping is finished, we will draw the secondary prizes which consist of $25, $50 and $100 Crete FoodMart gift certificates. Also, this week we will hold our regular meeting. However, due to a scheduling conflict, we will not meet at the VFW but will meet in the "Zoom" room at the Cardinal Welcome Center building. Meeting time will still be 5:30pm as usual. Katie Bevins and her staff from Sixpence will be our program and we will get to see samples of the products they were able to purchase with the hard-earned funds from our grant project.
