Last Week- Seventeen members attended our Wednesday evening meeting at TBH.

 

With the deadline approaching for the completion of our Arbor/Community Garden grant project, the final on site work was completed on Thursday and Friday mornings. A concrete pad at the entrance gate was completed and the two potting tables and two benches were stained and delivered to the site. Tom Parker and Craig Snyder provided much of the labor and goodwill. We will get all of our receipts and photos to Jim Fahrnbruch and he will send them on to Rotary District this week.

 

 

This Week- We will meet at TBH this Tuesday noon for a regular meeting. Officer Gary Young, of the Crete Police Department will be our speaker. We will also (finally!) officially induct Gatsby Solheim into our club with our New Member" ceremony. Her husband, David, although new to our club, was an active Rotary member in Iowa and his membership has been transferred to our club already.

 

Lastly, two reminders: If you haven't RSVP'd to me already on if you are attending the Winery Social on March 22nd, please do. And, if you haven't responded to Janelle's "meeting times" on-line survey she emailed to all of us last week- please do so. See y'all Tuesday!
