We have a Grocery Grab WINNER! District Governor Gary Bren drew Nancy Pohl’s name from 754 tickets that we sold. Nancy is excited to clean out the grocery aisles at WalMart. The “Grab” will be Saturday, December 10 at 8 am. We need as many members as possible to cheer Nancy on and to guard the isles. Be there by 7:45 am. After she is done, we will draw for the gift cards. Congratulations, Nancy!! Thank you to all members that made this fundraiser such a success.
This week Brad Horky is presenting the program. His topic is “Recruitment of Potential Foster Care Families.” We meet at noon at The Brew House.
Crete Rotary has a goal of all members contributing to The Rotary Foundation. Any amount is appreciated. Our club goal is $2500, which is an average of $100 per member. We also are collecting to eradicate polio in the world. We would like to average $35 per member, making our goal $875. We will be collecting for this Rotary year through June, 2017. Please consider a contribution. If you want your contribution to apply to your 2016 tax return, make your contribution soon.
The Social Committee is planning the Christmas Party for Wednesday, December 14, at 6pm. We are looking for someone with a keyboard to play Christmas Carols for a sing-a-long. Can you or your spouse or a friend play? If it is a friend, I’ll pay for their meal!! If you haven’t signed up for the party, please contact Jim F. We need the number of adults and children attending. For the children we need their names, ages and gender. We hope you can make it

Please note: For December we will meet on the first Tuesday (December 6) at noon and the second Wednesday (December 14) at 6 pm for our Christmas party. We will not meet over the Christmas holidays.
