Everyone is an artist, you just have to find your medium" was a quote from one of Chris Neukirch's college professors during an art class when she, admittedly, was not good at. After college, she started with stained glass at a community education class, then went to blown glass, but she finally found her "medium" in fused glass and created "Neukirch Glasswerks".   Although she comes from an IT and Science background, the fused glass provides her a creative outlet with discovering different styles, colors, and patterns.  

 

She has her own studio where she hopes to eventually have a retail space and host classes!  She has 4 kilns, and many different types of glass she showed to the club.  She does attend craft fairs and has several planned in the next few months:

October 6--Crete's Great Pumpkin Festival

October 26--Faith Lutheran Craft Fair in Lincoln

November 16--Seward Jr. Women's Craft Fair

November 30--Small Business Saturday

December 7--Ornament Class--Chris's Studio
