This week, Amanda Barker visited us from Civic Nebraska, and was co-founded by our own David Solheim!

 

Civic Nebraska creates a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans.  They do this through youth service learning, civic healthy initiatives, and nonpartisan voting rights advocacy.  They rise to engage Nebraskans in meaningful ways to build informed community leaders, and they ensure that our democratic institutions are nonpartisan, accessible, and modern.  If you'd like to know more about Civic Nebraska, you can reach out to Amanda, or even David for some more information. 

 

Please notice the meeting change.  Instead of planting pumpkins this week, we will be meeting in the main dining room of the Brewhouse at 5:30 (not the party room which is already booked).  I'd like to go over financials, goals for next year, and the district grant information for next year.
