Crete Rotary’s first noon meeting Thursday, August 11, 2016 was a success: We had good attendance, a great program and great food! We will have noon meetings in the future. Conflicts on Thursdays are causing us to look at Tuesday noon for meetings. We have scheduled Tuesday, September 13th as our next noon meeting. If you know of conflicts for Tuesday noon meetings, let Jim F. know.
Your child or grandchild would like this desk to do their homework! Ann Howard is donating to Rotary a cute small roll top desk. We are asking $250.00 for the desk; we may take less. It is on display at Tom Sorensen’s office. Soon we will open it up to non-Rotarians.
Drawing: Judy Harms won $6.00 on the draw. She donated the second portion to scholarships. Judy missed out on the accumulated pot worth $115. The deck is down to 35 cards for this week’s draw.
Youth Cabin Grant Project: Tom Parker will update us this week on our grant project. We will be starting work soon.
