Last Week- Twelve members attended our evening meeting with the primary function being organizing our five committees so that we can take on the rest of the year. Committee Chairs were selected and they are: Fundraising- Jack T., PR/Membership- Janelle, Projects/Grants- Bob & Jill, Social- Jenn, Youth- Geoff. The primary task of the committee chairperson(s) is to facilitate communication between the committee and the club president and club membership. Thank you to our new committee chairs! Committee members also spent time "brainstorming" ways that their committees could enhance the success of our major upcoming projects- the Arbor Grant Project and the Grocery Grab fundraiser. 

 

Janelle won the drawing and donated $9 to our scholarship fund but did not find the Queen in the deck. So our pot grows to $168+ for next week's meeting and the deck is now down to 29 cards so the chances of winning are getting better and better!

 

This Week- Besides regular business we will have two guest; Chan and Suzanne Terrell from Lincoln South Rotary Club, who will talk for a few minutes about an upcoming fundraising event they are holding. Our program will be our own Jenn Lampila and the topic will be the Crete News "Windows to the Past" photo project. SEE YOU THERE!
