Reminder:  Go to Heath’s Sport Shop and check out the Rotary T-shirts and Polos.  Place your order so that Paul Heath can make them at our March 15th meeting.  In order to have the shirts on hand, we need to order by Tuesday, February 28!

This week:  Wednesday, March 1, 5:30 pm –Geoff Easton – “numismatics (coin collecting)”

Janet Jeffries came to educate us on the history of Crete.  Her presentation ranged from the origin of Crete's name to old photographs showing the evolution of Crete.  Most of her photos showed Main Street, but she made it clear that there was more she could have shown.  Her pictures included the original opera house at 13th and Main, a car dealership where Pinnacle Bank stands currently and a picture of the original hospital at 13th and Juniper.  She has been Crete's historian for years and has much more knowledge to share.

Happy Birthday wishes to Cody Vance (2/26) and Karen Drevo (3/6)
