Last Week- Fourteen members attended our Wednesday evening meeting which was held at the Crete Voluntary Fire & Rescue Dept. station house. Chief Tod Allen, along with several of the 35 member fire department, lead our group on a tour of their facilities which included information on the basics of what is required to be a firefighter as well as the vehicles and equipment they use to keep us and our community safe. It was a very enjoyable and informative tour and our thanks go out to all in the CVFD. L to R- Colin Gaman, Terry Petracek, Tod Allen, Donivan Viger, Nikki Wells and of course Jack Garrison This Week- Big week coming up as we have multiple projects. On Tuesday and Thursday we will be assisting with the Crete Elementary School Book Fair and On Sunday we will flip out at the Boy Scout Pancake Feed. I will send an email out immediately with the volunteer sheets for both events so those that are working can confirm their time slot. Because of the busy week we will forego the regular meeting this week. Next week our meeting is on Wednesday evening at Jill and Bob's home and is billed as Rotary Game Night.
