Last week, members met to go over some details about the Centennial Celebration and a few other miscellaneous items. Here are the highlights: - If you'd like to purchase coins, please email Geoff Easton (g5easton@yahoo.com) or Tom Parker (tomkat46@aol.com). They are not here yet, right now we are looking for an intent to purchase--$1.21 each.
- Next week, there will be a sign up sheet for helping set up for the event and helping clean up afterwards. If you're not able to attend and would like to help with the dessert table, setting up the main tables, and the display of past rotary members, email Janelle (js031117@gmail.com) and your name will be added.
- Members are asked to be dressed in business casual attire for the event. If you have a Rotary pin, please wear it.
- Mayor Bauer will be stating a proclamation at the City Council meeting this week about Rotary and our event. Members are encouraged to come! It's the first item on the agenda--6pm on Tuesday, March 15th at City Hall (second floor).
- We are working with Heath Sports to get club apparel. More info to follow.
- The scholarship applications are in! Karen, Vince, and Jim J will decide on the winners.
- This year, we did not have interest in RYLA. It was mentioned to have members put together a presentation for next year to go and speak at an assembly to gain interest.
- Last, but certainly not least, Julie Lacy has stepped up to take Jim F.'s place as Foundation chair! Thank you, Julie!
Please make a point to attend the next meeting since it's the last one before the celebration. Thank you to everyone who has helped plan and make this celebration a success already! See you on March 23rd!
