Last week, member Shaylene Smith gave us a tour of the newly renovated Crete Isis Theater. Many hours were put into not only the renovation but fundraising to open the theater back up. Thank you, Shay, and the rest of the Blue River Arts Council for giving the Crete Isis Theater new life. Here are some dates to note: - District Governor, Tom Kerfoot's annual visit. There's a sign up sheet for a potluck meal that evening, please let Janelle know if you'd like to sign up. The greatest need is for main dishes with only one sign up so far. Along with that, please let Janelle know about a gift for the District Governor as is customary. If you have an idea on what you could contribute, let her know.
- Grocery Grab sponsors are usually contacted in August as well. Please be thinking of former sponsors you've contacted and potential new ones to make our fundraiser a bigger success than before.
- Looking farther ahead, the District Conference is in October, and we'll need a Golden Wheel nominee! Be thinking of who in the community you'd like to nominate for this award.
