Our sympathies go to Janelle Snodgrass: Her grandfather (Leonard Kraus) passed away last Friday. His funeral is Monday, June 12 @ 2:30 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Rotary Foundation Donations: We have been challenged to increase contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Each member’s contribution to the Foundation (annual fund or polio) will be matched up to $1,000.00.
Our contributions so far this year are:
Annual Fund $1972 + (Match) $544 = $2516.00 (Goal = $2500)
Polio $763 + (Match) $157 = $920.00 (Goal = $875).
Deadline for **Matching Funds** is June 13!
Deadline to get credit for this Rotary year is June 21!
Last week: We had a weak turnout for the Pumpkin Planting activity. Thanks to Geoff, Jim F., Bob, Jim J., Jenn, and Jack.
How about a make up for last week? If you bring a donation to the Rotary Foundation or Polio to this week’s meeting, it will not only be doubled by our challenge, but I will give you credit for attending last week’s meeting!! This will benefit our club, Rotary Foundation and you!
