The Queen has been found, twice in the last two meetings. Tom Parker cleaned the pot of $6.00!
This week: Janet Jeffries will tell us of the “History of Downtown Crete.”
Thanks to all that took a turn at the register at the Elementary Book Fair.
Happy Birthday wishes to Jenn Lampila (2/12), Tom Sorensen (2/16) and Cody Vance (2/26).
Jill McCartney gave a report on the Rotary Foundation. Arch Klumph’s idea for an endowment fund dedicated to “doing good in the world” planted the seed of The Rotary Foundation in 1917. The Rotary Club of Kansas City, Missouri made the first donation of $26.50. Thanks to Klumph’s vision and staunch advocacy, and the extraordinary generosity of Rotary members worldwide, that fund has become one of the world’s leading humanitarian foundations. We have a couple of members that will receive Paul Harris Foundation Awards in the near future.
We will have an update on Rotary Shirts, name tags and RYLA.
