Thank you all for helping make our Centennial event a success! We had great representation from the district with several past District Governors and members from Lincoln, Omaha, and Council Bluffs clubs in attendance. In addition, we had several members of the community attend including Ann Howard, Janet Jeffries, and more! Thank you to the Celebration Committee for planning the event, Jenn Lampila for creating the video and slideshow, and Mike Smith who provided the projector through the event.
The Rotary coins came in the nick of time (one hour before the event!) With the cost of the coin, taxes, and shipping, the cost averages out to $32 per 25 coins. Payment can go to Jim J for the coins who will then reimburse Geoff Easton for the cost. Please bring payment to the next few meetings for the coins if you've committed.
For this week's meeting, we will be discussing a highway cleanup (be thinking of next week possibly?) and there are several Paul Harris Fellows to present to the club. Just a reminder, the VFW is no longer serving food on Wednesday nights so please plan accordingly. Hope to see you all on Wednesday!
