Greetings fellow Crete Rotarians!
We have a lot going on this month, so I hope to see everyone at out meeting this Wednesday. Our speaker is Marilyn Schacht. She works at Crete Public Schools in several capacities including being the McKinney Vento Homeless Assistance Act Liason for the school district.
Club business includes sharing signup sheets for two service projects during the week of February 20th. Those projects are the Elementary School Book Fair and the Scout Pancake Feed. If you aren't able to attend the meeting, we will send out an email to everyone with these two signup sheets that will have the dates and times.
Our financial support fund for injured firefighter Brad Elder closed at the end of January and I'm pleased to announce we donated $540 to Brad. Thanks everyone!
President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) is coming up on March 4th. We need to confirm our next club president soon! Please let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions!
The Rotary District 5650 Conference dates and itineraries are set and it is the "early" sign up period. The conference is on March 31st and April 1st. Please check it out on the district website and attend if possible!

Finally, we received invitation information from the Fairbury Rotary Club who is holding a two-year belated 100 Year Anniversary.
