Last week, we drew the winner for the Grocery Grab: Diane Burianek! Jenn Lampila sold the winning ticket! The grocery grab will be with Saturday at Foodmart beginning at 8am. Please be at Foodmart by 7:55 wearing your Rotary gear! Directly following the Grocery Grab, please convene at the Brewhouse to draw for the gift cards. All members must have their tickets in by the 13th to be included in the drawing.
To date, ticket sales and sponsorships brought the total for the fundraiser to $7805! That will go a long way towards helping the community and scholarships! Thank you all for your diligence in sales.
This week we have the Week of the Young child event at Doane college. It's at the outdoor classroom near the Hansen hall parking lot on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we will have the youth cabin clean up (formerly scheduled on April 20th). Some members at the meeting stated conflicts with the original date so it was moved to Wednesday. If you're able to help the cleaning will begin at 5 pm and will have a cookout afterwards! Bring gloves, rakes, shovels, trimmers, tree trimming saws or any other clean up tools.
April 24th will be the highway cleanup, meet at the CAMC parking lot at 5pm to get your safety vest.
