Last Week- 14 members attended our noon meeting on Tuesday. Unfortunately our speaker was not able to make the meeting but it gave us extra time to review where we were at on our Community Garden Arbor Project and Grocery Grab ticket sale efforts. On Wednesday afternoon last week Tom P, Jim J, Jim F, Bob, Jack T, Jenn and Jill spent a couple hours at the Garden working on the fence and arbor structure. It is really taking shape! Tom P. won our drawing and donated $7 to our Polio fund. In an effort to win the accumulated pot, he drew the King of Spades from the deck. Lady Luck can be so cruel!
On Saturday morning Jenn, Bob, Cody, Jim F, Jack T and Janelle shook off the clouds and cold drizzle to sell GGrab tickets in front of Foodmart.
This Week- We will hold our regular meeting on Wednesday @ TBH at 5:30. Joe Roberts from the Rotary Lincoln South Club will visit with us about a special Rotary Foundation fundraising effort being directed by our District. We will also discuss our continued work on GGrab sales and arbor work.
On this coming Saturday morning JackT, Jenn, Jill, Chris, and Jack G and Mary will sell GGrab tickets in front of Foodmart.
