"Service Above Self"
Fall Highway Cleanup took place this past Wednesday. Thanks to all that we able to help- Jim Johnson, Jenn Lampila, Marilea Theim, Jack Thompson and Tom Sorensen. And a special thank you to two of Tom's grandkids Kinsley and Bode, who got a taste of Rotary service by helping their grandpa clean up an entire section of our route. If you missed this event, never fear, we'll do it again in the spring!
This week's meeting is a special "Bring a Guest" social affair. We will conduct a small amount of club business first. And then spend the rest of the time getting to know our guest and letting them get to know our club. Pizza will be provided at no cost to members and/or their guest. We are looking for a few members willing to bring a dessert! An email we be sent out for all members to rsvp and let me know if you are bringing a guest.
The club business will mostly be focused on Grocery Grab ticket sales and making sure that all of our sponsors have returned their complimentary ticket stubs. The grand prize drawing is coming up soon on November 1st. So please sell a ton of tickets and get them turned into to Jim Johnson a few days before the drawing!
